COVID-19: THIRTY-ONE NEW CASES AND SEVEN RECOVERED IN THE LAST 24 HOURS IN ANGOLA

Luanda - Thirty-one new cases, seven patients recovered and two deaths is the record of Covid-19, in the last 24 hours, in Angola.

According to the clinical bulletin to which ANGOP had access, among the new cases, 25 were diagnosed in Luanda, 3 in Huambo, 1 in Cabinda, 1 in Zaire and 1 in Huíla.

Among the new patients, whose ages vary from 7 to 74 years old, 22 are male and 9 female.

Deaths were recorded in the provinces of Luanda and Huambo.

The recovered, according to the available data, all reside in the province of Luanda.

Angola has a record of 21,086 cases, with 514 deaths, 19,647 recovered and 925 active.

Of the assets, three were in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 8 severe, 37 moderate, 18 with mild symptoms and 859 asymptomatic.

National laboratories have processed 658 samples in the last 24 hours.

Inpatient centers are treating 66 patients, while 43 people are in institutional quarantine centers.

Health authorities keep 1,431 positive case contacts under epidemiological surveillance.
