Luanda - Angola has recovered, in the last 24 hours, 177 new recoveries and 29 infections by Covid-19, informed today the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, in the usual update of data on the pandemic.

According to the leader, among those recovered are 114 from Luanda, 44 from Huambo, 12 from Benguela and 5 from Bié and 1 each to the provinces of Zaire and Lunda-Norte, aged between 8 months and 77 years.

As for the 29 new cases, he informed that 15 in Luanda, 6 in Cabinda, the same number in the province of Zaíre and 1 each in the provinces of Huíla and Lunda Sul, resulting from 106 samples processed in the last 24 hours.

In general, the national epidemiological picture registered 20,548, with 499 deaths, 19,190 recovered and 859 active, of which three were in critical condition, 10 severe, 40 moderate, 44 mild and 762 asymptomatic.

In the country's treatment centers, 97 patients are hospitalized, on a day when 1,036 samples were processed.
