Luanda - Nine more positive cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours in the country, announced on Monday, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.
These are five cases of local transmission, involving case 186, which is being treated in one of the reference health units.
Regarding the four cases without epidemiological links, Franco Mufinda said that studies are being developed to determine their origin.
According to the leader, who updated the data for the last 24 hours, local contamination increases to 204 cases, while cases without an epidemiological link account for 37 occurrences.
Franco Mufinda clarified that the four new cases of contamination without an epidemiological link were detected in patients diagnosed at the Sagrada Esperança and Girassol clinics.
Franco Mufinda informed, on the other hand, that six patients are in critical condition, in intensive care areas of the monitoring centers.
With the new data, the number of infected people in Angola rises to 272, of which 11 deaths, 93 recovered (plus 10) and 172 active.
