Menongue - A 52-year-old national citizen, who left Luanda, a province with a health fence, for Cuando Cubango, was arrested today, Saturday, and placed in institutional quarantine in the city of Menongue, in obedience to the State of Emergency, in force since March 27, 2020.
The citizen was questioned at the border of Fio, the border between Bié and Cuando Cubango, more than 70 kilometers northeast of Menongue, by the staff of the corporation.
Speaking to the press, the spokesman for the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in Cuando Cubango, Andelson Domingos, said that the citizen had failed to comply with Luanda's no-exit / entry guidelines, making himself transported in a light vehicle.
The SIC also reported that a 23-year-old was arrested for violating the rules of the State of Emergency decree that prohibit the circulation of motorcycle taxis, so that the judicial authorities will be handed over to the competent summary judgment.
