Luanda - The health authorities announced, on Friday, the registration of 132 new cases, 55 recovered and one death.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who regularly updated data, there are 57 patients from Luanda, 23 in Zaire, 22 in Cuanza Norte, 7 in Cuanza Sul, 8 in Huambo, five in Cuando Cubango, 4 in Lunda Sul, 3 in Cabinda, one Benguela, one in Bié and, equally, one in Uíge.

The group of new patients is comprised of 83 males and 49 females, aged 3 months to 71 years.

Franco Mufinda also announced the death of a 20-year-old Angolan resident in Luanda.

Of those recovered, he said, 31 are in Luanda, 10 in Benguela, 8 in Huambo and 6 in Malanje.

Angola counts 15,493 positive cases, 353 deaths, 8,299 recovered and 6,841 active.

Of the assets, three are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, eight severe, 99 moderate, 157 with mild symptoms and 6,574 asymptomatic.
