Luanda - The health authorities announced the registration, in the last 24 hours, 53 new infections and two recovered.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual data update session, these are three cases registered in Lobito municipality, Benguela province, two in Cabinda and 48 in Luanda.

Of the new patients, advanced Franco Mufinda, whose ages range from 02 to 86 years old, are 23 males and 30 females.

The recovered are all patients from the province of Luanda.

With these data, the province of Luanda has an accumulation of 3,567 positive cases and 139 deaths, Benguela 44 positive and three deaths and Cabinda with 84 positive cases.

The epidemiological picture also shows Bengo with seven positive cases and one death, Bié with five positive cases, Cunene with four cases, Huambo with 35 cases and two deaths, Huíla with four cases, Cuanza Norte with 25 positive cases and four deaths, Cuanza South with five cases and one death, Lunda Norte with one case, Lunda Sul with one case, Malanje with one case, Moxico with three cases, Uíge with one case and Zaire with 114 cases.

The provinces of Cuando Cubango and Namibe are the only ones without positive case records.

The country has 3,901 positive cases, with 147 deaths, 1,445 recovered and 2,309 active.

Of the assets, two were in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 13 severe, 49 moderate, 60 with mild symptoms and 2,185 asymptomatic.

Four hundred and forty-four patients are being followed up in treatment centers.
