Luanda - Angola reported the registration, in the last 24 hours, 51 more new cases, the recovery of 27 patients and the death of three.

According to Health Minister Sílvia Lutucuta, who was updating data, 31 cases were diagnosed in Luanda, 8 in Huambo, 3 in Bié, 3 in Huíla, 2 in Benguela, two Malanje, 1 in Lunda Norte and 1 in Moxico .

Among the new patients, whose ages vary from 3 months to 88 years, are 28 males and 23 females.

Of the three deaths, two were recorded in Luanda and one in Benguela, all Angolans, one male and two female.

As for the recovered, according to the minister, 10 live in Huambo, 8 in Lunda Norte, 8 in Bié and 1 in Luanda.

The laboratories processed 1,049 samples on the basis of molecular biology (RT-PCR).

Angola has 20,163 positive cases, with 475 deaths, 18,623 recovered and 1,062 active. Of the assets, 9 are in critical condition, 12 severe, 81 moderate, 72 with mild symptoms and 888 asymptomatic.

One hundred and thirty-two people are in institutional quarantine, 174 are hospitalized and 1,903 are under epidemiological surveillance.
