Luanda - Angola reported, on Wednesday, the recovery of 207 patients, 68 new infections and one death.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, who spoke at the usual data update session, of the new cases, 33 were registered in Luanda, 13 in Cabinda, 11 in Huambo, four in Benguela, three in Moxico, two in Uíge, Cuando Cubango and Zaire, with one case each.

The group, which includes 41 male and 27 female patients, has ages ranging from 5 months to 70 years.

Regarding the recovered, Franco Mufinda announced that 80 are in Cuanza Sul, 75 in Benguela, 30 in Luanda, 20 in Malanje and two in Namibe.

The death, he said, involves a 38-year-old Chinese national.

The country currently has 15,319 positive cases, with 351 deaths, 8,139 recovered and 6,829 active. Of the assets, seven are critical, six severe, 103 moderate, 170 mild, 6,543 asymptomatic.
