Luanda - Angola recorded, in the last 24 hours, the recovery of 145 patients, 85 new cases and three deaths.

According to a daily update bulletin from Covid-19 in the country that ANGOP had access to, 69 recovered patients are from Huíla, 22 in Zaire, 18 in Lunda Sul, 13 in Lunda Norte, 11 in Luanda, six in Huambo, three in Malanje, two in Cunene and one case in the province of Namibe, aged between one and 78 years.

In the same period, 85 new infections were registered, and were reported in the provinces of Luanda (42), Huambo and Bié with 15 cases each, Zaire (9), Benguela (2), Cabinda and Lunda Sul respectively with one case.

The new patients are aged between three and 68 years old, being 44 male and 41 female.

The three deaths were recorded in the provinces of Uíge, Benguela and Huambo, respectively.

The laboratories processed 4,385 samples by RTP-CR, 339. 634 samples were cumulatively processed, with a positivity rate of 5.6 per cent.

Angola has 19,011 infections, of which 16,822 were recovered, 1,747 active and 442 deaths. Of the assets, nine were in critical condition, eight were severe, 88 were moderate, 106 were mild and 1,536 were asymptomatic.
