Luanda - On the day of the celebration of the National Culture (8 January), Angola recovered 757 patients, aged between one and 63 years, in an unprecedented manner, despite two deaths.

Meanwhile, recoveries occurred in Luanda (507), Cabinda and Cuanza Norte (50 each), Malanje (49), Benguela (47), Huila (18), Uíge (12), Bengo (9), Zaire (6), Luanda Sul (4), Cuanza Sul (3), Huambo and Namibe (2) and Moxico and Cunene (1).

Meanwhile, the deaths occurred in the provinces of Luanda and Huambo, involving two men aged 48 and 64, according to the National Director of Public Health, Elga Freitas, during the update of the last 24 hours.

In this period, Angola registered 92 new cases, aged between 1 and 67, 39 in Luanda, 23 in Huambo, 9 in Zaire, 4 in Lunda Norte, the same number in Lunda Sul, Moxico and Cabinda, 3 in Cuando Cubango and 2 in Bié.

With that, the country now counts, in general, 18 thousand and 66 confirmed cases. Of these, 4,939 were being treated, 12,712 recovered and 415 killed, according to the National Director for Public Health.
