Covid-19: Angola counts 29 new people infected, one death and 44 recovered

Luanda - The national epidemiological picture registered, in the last 24 hours, 29 new infected, one death and 44 recovered from Covid-19.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who updated the data, among the new positive cases are seven from Zaire province, one from the municipality of Mbanza Congo and six from Soyo, the rest are from Luanda.

Sixteen new patients are male and, according to Franco Mufinda, are between four months and 66 years old.

The death, according to the Secretary of State, is a 53-year-old Angolan patient.

Angola has 2,044 infected, with 93 deaths, 742 recovered and 1,209 active.

Of the positives, six are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 19 in severe condition, 28 moderate, 25 mild and 1,131 asymptomatic.
