Luanda - Angola recorded, in the last 24 hours, another death and five new positive cases of covid-19, rising to 118 the number of infected in the country.
The death, added to the previous four, is a 78-year-old individual, who had several pathologies such as chronic renal failure, stroke and arterial hypertension, admitted to the Multiperfil Clinic, on the floor where other cases were identified positive.
The five new positive cases, which were in institutional quarantine, are male patients, aged 27 to 79 years of age, four of whom come from Russia.
According to the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta, who spoke at the usual Covid19 data update session in the country, the new positive cases are already being treated at the Covid-19 Field Hospital, located in the Special Economic Zone (EEZ), in Viana, Luanda province.
Still in the last 24 hours, according to Sílvia Lutucuta, another patient was recovered, increasing the number of free people from Covid-19 to 41.
Of the 118 positive cases recorded so far, five have resulted in deaths, 41 have been recovered and 72 are active, with one patient under special care.
