Luanda - Forty-six new cases, three deaths and 68 recovered patients are the balance of the last 24 hours, announced on Sunday, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.

Speaking at the usual Covid-19 data update session in Angola, Franco Mufinda said that one case was registered in Bengo and 45 in the province of Luanda.

Among the new patients, whose ages range from 02 to 67 years old, there are 28 males and 18 females.

Regarding the three deaths, he informed that there are two males and one female, all resident in Luanda.

The 68 patients recovered, he said, 11 were in Cuanza Norte and 57 in Luanda.

Angola has 4,718 positive cases, with 174 deaths, 1,707 recovered and 2,837 assets.

Of the assets, 13 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 15 severe, 37 moderate, 94 with mild symptoms and 2,678 asymptomatic.

Health authorities follow 484 patients in treatment centers across the country.
