Luanda - The Angolan authorities recorded, in the last 24 hours, 89 new positive cases, 687 recovered and two deaths, bringing the cumulative data to 18,343 infected, 15,512 discharges given to patients and 422 deaths across the country, including today the province of Bié .
New infections were registered in Luanda (46), in Huambo (14), in Benguela and Zaire (6), in Bié (5), in Moxico and Huíla (4), in Bengo, Cuando Cubango, Uíge and in Cabinda ( 1 case each), aged between 1 and 81 years, 55 men and 34 women.
According to the Epidemiological Bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP), the 687 recovered are from the country's capital (539), in Cabinda (64), in Cuanza Norte (41), in Malanje (25), in Huambo (7) , in Cuanza Sul (6), Moxico and Benguela (1 each), aged between 4 and 65 years.
During that period, the laboratories processed 1411 samples by RT-PCR, from a cumulative of 325,703 blood samples examined, with a positivity rate of 5.6 percent.
Thus, Angola now counts 2,409 assets, of which 9 are critical, 8 serious, 84 moderate, 97 mild and 2,211 asymptomatic. There are 201 hospitalized patients, 157 being monitored in Institutional Quarantine and 3,278 under epidemiological surveillance.
