Luanda - The health authorities announced, on Saturday, the recovery of 64 patients, the registration of 32 new patients and one death in the last 24 hours in the country.

According to data from the health bulletin to which ANGOP had access, 55 patients were recovered in Lunda-sul, 4 in Luanda, 3 in Huambo and 2 in Bié, with ages ranging from 24 to 64 years.

Of the new cases, 14 were diagnosed in Luanda, 12 in Lunda Sul, 2 in Huíla, 2 in Namibe, 1 in Huambo and 1 in Bié, aged between 1 and 64 years, being 25 male and 7 female.

The death involves a 46-year-old Angolan citizen, residing in Luanda.

The laboratories processed 630 samples on the basis of molecular biology (RT-PCR).

Angola has 20,062 positive cases, with 475 deaths, 18,495 recovered and 1,092 active. Of the assets, two are in critical condition, 11 severe, 88 moderate, 82 with mild symptoms and 909 asymptomatic.

One hundred and forty-five people are in institutional quarantine, 183 are hospitalized and 1,992 are under epidemiological surveillance.
