Luanda- The national health authorities registered, in the last 24 hours, 59 new infections, three deaths and 38 recovered patients.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, in the usual data update session, two were registered in Benguela, one in Zaire and 56 in the province of Luanda.

Of the new cases, according to the official, 47 were detected in patients who sought health facilities in Luanda for medical consultations.

The new patients, 48 male and 11 male, are between 21 and 60 years old.

Regarding deaths, Franco Mufinda said that there are two Angolans and one Nigerian citizen.

Among the recovered patients, 35 are located in Luanda and three in Benguela.

The country has 3,848 positive cases, with 147 deaths, 1,443 recovered and 2,358 active.

Of the assets, two were in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 13 severe, 48 moderate, 57 with mild symptoms and 2,138 asymptomatic.

Four hundred and thirty-two patients are being followed up in treatment centers.
