Luanda - Health authorities have registered, in the last 24 hours, 52 new positive cases and four deaths.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who was updating the data, there are five patients from Cabinda, three from Bié, two from Zaire, four from Benguela and 36 diagnosed in Luanda

The newly infected ones, he said, are between one month and 81 years old, 32 of whom are male and 20 are female.

Regarding deaths, Franco Mufinda said that there are four nationals, 54, 61 and 66 years old.

The country has 3,033 positive cases, with 124 deaths, 1,215 recovered and 1,694 active.

Of the active cases, three are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 19 severe, 48 moderate, 44 with mild symptoms and 1,580 asymptomatic.

Among the active cases, 384 are admitted to treatment centers across the country.
