Luanda - Fifty-one new infections, two deaths and 23 recovered patients are the national epidemiological balance of the last 24 hours presented, this Monday, by the health authorities.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who was updating the data, these are two cases from Zaire, one from Cuanza Norte, one from Cabinda and 47 registered in Luanda.

Among the new patients, whose ages range from 22 to 82 years old, 31 are male and 20 female.

Regarding the two deaths, Franco Mufinda stressed that these are two Angolans with 52 and 73 years of age, respectively.

Regarding the 23 recovered patients, he said that they are residents in the province of Luanda.

Health authorities follow 431 patients in treatment centers.

Angola has 3,339 positive cases, 136 deaths, 1,324 recovered and 1,979 active.

Of the assets, one critic with invasive mechanical ventilation, 16 2 severe, 44 moderate, 62 mild and 1,856 asymptomatic.
