Luanda - Forty-five recovered, eight new cases and one death is the balance sheet of the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health (MINSA).

The clinical report indicates that 21 recovered people live in Moxico, 11 in Lunda Sul, 9 in Luanda, 2 in Cuando Cubango, 1 in Cuanza Sul and 1 in Huíla, whose ages vary from 12 to 88 years.

The new cases were registered in Huíla, with 3, Luanda with 2, Zaire with 2 and Namibe with 1 case.

Among the new patients, whose ages vary from 18 to 48 years old, three are male and five female.

The death, which involves a 75-year-old Angolan citizen, was recorded in Luanda.

The national staff registers 20,389 cases, with 494 deaths, 18,929 recovered and 966 active.

Of the assets, 7 are in critical condition, 8 severe, 73 moderate, 76 mild and 802 asymptomatic.

The labs processed 373 samples by RT-PCR, with a daily positivity rate of 1.2 percent.

In the treatment centers, 164 patients are being monitored, 35 are in institutional quarantine, are people and 1,710 contacts of positive cases are under medical surveillance.
