Luanda - The Angolan health authorities announced, on Saturday, the recovery of 373 patients, 178 new cases and 1 death, in the last 24 hours.

According to the clinical bulletin that ANGOP had access to, among those recovered, 360 live in Luanda, 3 in Cuanza Sul, 2 in Bengo, 2 in Benguela, 2 in Huíla, 1 in Cunene, 1 in Malanje, 1 in Uíge and 1 in Zaire.

Among the new cases, 172 were diagnosed in Luanda, 4 in Huíla and 2 in Huambo.

Of the new patients, whose ages vary from 4 months to 92 years, 123 are male and 55 female.

Death, on the other hand, was reported in the province of Huíla involving a 54-year-old Angolan citizen.

The overall picture shows 24,300 cases, with 561 deaths, 22,576 recovered and 1,163 active. Of the assets, 6 are in critical condition, 13 severe, 61 moderate, 43 mild and 1,040 asymptomatic.

In the last 24 hours, 1,934 samples were processed.

Inpatient centers are 123 patients, while 47 citizens are in institutional quarantine.

The authorities maintain 1,301 contacts under epidemiological surveillance.
