COVID-19. ANGOLA WITH 37 NEW CASES AND 5 RECOVERED

Luanda - The health authorities announced, on Sunday, 37 new cases, five recovered and one death, in the last 24 hours.

According to the health bulletin that ANGOP had access to, among the new cases, 25 were diagnosed in Luanda, 6 in Benguela, 4 in Namibe, 1 in Malanje and 1 in Uíge.

The new patients are aged between 3 and 64 years old, 28 of whom are male and 9 are female.

The death was registered in Huíla, involving a 54-year-old Angolan.

Among the four recovered patients, four are residents of Moxico province and 1 in Benguela.

The national staff registers 20,366 cases, with 492 deaths, 18,795 recovered and 1,079 active.

Of the assets, seven are in critical condition, six severe, 75 moderate, 80 mild and 911 asymptomatic.

The laboratories processed 1,878 samples by RT-PCR.

There are 25 people in institutional quarantine, while 1,822 positive case contacts are under medical surveillance.
