Luanda - On Thursday, health authorities announced the registration of 250 new cases, 127 recovered patients and one death.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, in the usual data update session, there are 152 cases recorded in Luanda, 39 in Huíla, 17 in Benguela, 12 in Cabinda, the same number in Zaire, 11 in Cunene, three from Cuanza Sul, two from Namibe, one from Cuando Cubango, an equal number from Cuanza Norte.

Regarding those recovered, he pointed out that there are 127 cases all of whom live in Luanda.

As for death, said Franco Mufinda, he is a 48-year-old Angolan citizen, resident in the province of Uíge.

Angola counts 7,096 positive cases, with 228 deaths, 2,928 recovered and 3,940 active.

Of the assets, 14 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 17 severe, 98 moderate, 411 have mild symptoms and 3,400 are asymptomatic.

There are 543 patients under medical care in the country's treatment centers.
