Luanda - On Friday, health authorities announced the registration of another 247 new infections, five deaths and 79 recovered patients.

According to the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta, who spoke at a press conference on the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 in the country, 203 new cases were registered in Luanda, 23 in Cabinda and 21 in Benguela.

According to the governor, there are 139 male and 108 female patients, whose ages range from one to 72 years.

As for the five deaths, he pointed out, four are patients from Luanda and one from Namibe.

Sílvia Lutucuta informed that 79 people recovered from Covid-19, 56 in Luanda and 23 in Bié.

The country recorded 8,829 positive cases, with 265 deaths, 3,384 recovered and 5,180 active.

Of the assets, nine are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 21 are severe and 121 are moderate.
