Luanda - The Angolan health authorities announced, this Saturday, the recovery of 416 patients, 247 new infections and five deaths, in the last 24 hours.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual data update session in the country, 194 were diagnosed in Luanda, 26 in Cunene, 15 in Uíge, 11 in Cabinda and one in Bengo.

The list of new patients, whose ages range from 2 to 80 years old, is comprised of 156 males and 91 females.

Regarding the deaths, the official informed that they were registered in Luanda, with two, Uíge, with two, and Cuanza Sul with one.

The recovered, he said, 392 were registered in Luanda, 16 in Zaire, 3 in Benguela, 2 in Cabinda, Bengo, Bié, Cunene, with one recovered each.

Angola has a record of 10,805 cases, with 284 deaths, 4,523 recovered and 5,998 active. Of the assets, 16 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 29 severe, 152 moderate, 356 with mild symptoms and 5,445 asymptomatic.
