Luanda - Health authorities

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual Covid-19 data update session in the country, 70 new cases were diagnosed in Benguela, 40 in Luanda, 22 in Cunene, 13 in Cabinda, seven in Cuanza Sul, five in Huambo and one in Namibe.

The list of new patients, whose ages range from three to 69 years old, is comprised of 112 males and 54 females.

He informed that 76 patients were recovered, 66 from Luanda, five from Huíla and an equal number from Namibe, aged between seven and 81 years.

Regarding deaths, Franco Mufinda informed that there are two Angolan citizens, male and female, aged 37 and 70, respectively, one resident in Luanda and the other in Huambo.

Angola has a record of 13,615 cases, with 324 deaths, 6,523 recovered and 6,768 active.

Of the assets, 10 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 13 severe, 188 moderate, 387 with mild symptoms and 6,170 asymptomatic.

Health authorities follow 598 patients admitted to treatment centers in the country.

Angolans announced, on Monday, the registration of 164 new infections of Covid-19, 76 recovered patients and two deaths, in the last 24 hours.
