Luanda - The Angolan health authorities announced, this Saturday, the registration of 146 new infections of Covid-19, 19 recovered patients and five deaths, in the last 24 hours.

 

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual Covid-19 data update session in the country, 128 new cases were diagnosed in Luanda, 16 in Benguela, one in Bengo and an equal number in Cuanza Sul .

The list of new patients, whose ages range from one to 81 years old, is comprised of 96 males and 50 females.

He informed that 19 patients were recovered, seven from Luanda, the same number from Lunda Sul and five from Benguela, aged between 20 and 64 years.

Regarding deaths, Franco Mufinda informed that there are five Angolan citizens, four male and one female, aged between 54 to 75 years old, three residents in Luanda, one in Malanje and an equal number in Benguela.

Angola has a record of 13 374 cases, with 322 deaths, 6 345 recovered and 6 707 active.

Of the assets, 10 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 18 severe, 186 moderate, 414 with mild symptoms and 6,079 asymptomatic.

Health authorities follow 628 patients admitted to treatment centers across the country.
