Luanda - The Angolan health authorities announced, this Saturday, 112 new infections, three deaths and 21 recovered, in the last 24 hours.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual data update session in the country, 75 new cases were diagnosed in Luanda, 16 in Benguela, the same number in Cuanza Norte, three in Cunene and two in Uíge .

The list of new patients, whose ages range from one month to 68 years old, is comprised of 68 males and 44 females.

Regarding the three deaths, all male and Angolan, the official informed that they were registered in Luanda, Uíge and Benguela, aged 23, 50 and 70 years.

The recovered, he said, 18 were registered in the country's capital, two in Benguela, and one in Uíge, aged between four and 65 years.

Angola has a record of 12,335 cases, with 303 deaths, 5,647 recovered and 6,385 active.

Of the assets, nine are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 25 severe, 162 moderate, 292 with mild symptoms and 5,897 asymptomatic The country's treatment centers follow 588 patients.
