Luanda - The health authorities announced, this Saturday, the registration of 66 new cases, 19 recovered patients and one dead, in the last 24 hours.

The clinical report indicates that, among the new cases, 53 were diagnosed in Luanda, 6 in Cabinda, 2 in Cuanza Sul, 2 in Cuando Cubango, 1 in Benguela, 1 in Bié and 1 in Uíge.

Among the new cases, whose ages range from 2 to 80, are 23 males and 43 females.

According to the health bulletin, of those recovered, 17 live in Luanda, 1 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Moxico.

The death, according to the clinical bulletin, was recorded in Luanda, involving a 66-year-old Angolan citizen.

The overall picture of the country indicates 22,031 positive cases, with 531 deaths, 20,269 recovered and 1,229 active. Of the assets, 8 in critical condition, 7 severe, 38 moderate, 28 mild and 1,148 asymptomatic.

In detention centers are 81 people, in institutional quarantine 37 people.

The authorities have 1,496 contacts of positive cases under medical surveillance.
