Luanda - Sixty-two new positives, one death and 11 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours in Angola.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who was updating the data, among the newly infected are two registered in Cabinda and 60 in Luanda.

The list of new patients consists of 31 males and an equal number of females, aged between one and 80 years.

Death, he said, was registered in Huambo province.

Franco Mufinda said that the Angolan capital (Luanda) has 92 percent of all positive cases in the country.

Regarding the lethality rate, he stressed that Huambo leads the table with 33 percent.

The national rate, he said, is 4 percent.

The provinces of Huíla, Lunda Norte and Uíge have all recovered patients. Angola has 3,279 positive cases, 131 deaths, 1,288 recovered and 1,860 assets.

Of the assets, three are critical with invasive mechanical ventilation, 25 severe, 46 moderate, 52 have mild symptoms and 1,734 asymptomatic.
