Luanda - The health authorities announced, on Friday, the record of 371 recovered, 289 new infections and four deaths, in the last 24 hours, in the country.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual data update session, 56 were registered in Luanda, 62 in Malanje, 41 in Zaire, 17 in Cunene, 11 in Benguela and two in Cuando Cubango.

The new patients, he said, are aged 2 to 80 years, 210 of whom are male and 79 are female.

Regarding deaths, they were recorded in the province of Luanda, including a two-month-old child.

Franco Mufinda informed that Luanda registered 312 recovered, 28 in Zaire, 26 in Cabinda, four in Benguela and one in Lunda Sul.

Angola has a record of 10,558 cases, with 279 deaths, 4,107 recovered and 6,172 active. Of the assets, 16 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 29 severe, 151 moderate, 427 with mild symptoms and 5,553 asymptomatic.
