COVID-19: ANGOLA ANNOUNCES 223 NEW CASES

Luanda- Angola reported the registration, in the last 24 hours, of 223 new cases, 3 deaths and 3 recovered patients.

 

The clinical report indicates that 202 were diagnosed in Luanda, 7 in Cabinda, 2 in Huambo and 2 in Huíla.

Among the new patients, whose ages vary from 2 to 87 years, are 115 males and 98 females.

The deaths were recorded in the province of Luanda, involving two Angolan citizens.

Those recovered, on the other hand, are residents of Luanda.

The overall picture shows 25,492 cases, with 577 deaths, 23,092 recovered and 1,823 active. Of the assets, 9 are in critical condition, 12 severe, 74 moderate, 51 mild and 1,677 asymptomatic.

2,523 have been processed in the last 24 hours.

Inpatient centers are 146 patients, while 119 citizens are in institutional quarantine.

The authorities maintain 1,436 contacts under epidemiological surveillance.
