Luanda - The health authorities announced, this Tuesday, the registration, in the last 24 hours, of 119 new infections, one death and 13 recoveries.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who updated the pandemic data in Angola, there are nine patients diagnosed in Cabinda, two in Huíla, one in Benguela and 107 in Luanda.

Among the newly infected, aged between 11 and 80, are 88 males and 31 females.

Regarding death, Franco Mufinda says he is an 88-year-old Angolan patient from Luanda.

Franco Mufinda added that the 13 recovered are all residents in Luanda.

Four hundred and sixty-two patients are being followed in the country's treatment centers.

Angola has 4,236 positive cases, with 155 deaths, 1,462 recovered and 2,619 active.

Of the assets, nine are in critical condition (two under invasive mechanical ventilation), 23 severe, 58 moderate, 62 with mild symptoms and 2,467 asymptomatic.
