Luanda - The Angolan health authorities registered 478 patients recovered from Covid-19, 110 new infections and no record of death in the last 24 hours.

The recovered patients are assigned to five provinces, namely Luanda (367), Zaire (90), Cunene (16), Huambo (three) and in Bié two recovered cases.

According to the newsletter of the daily update of the Multisectoral Commission for the Prevention and Combat of Covid-19, arrived this Thursday at Angop, in the last 24 hours, the analysis laboratories registered 110 new cases and no deaths by Sars Cov-2 , with ages varying from one to 68 years.

Of the 110 new cases, the note explains, were recorded in Luanda (46), Cuanza Sul (24), Bié (21), Huambo (five), Zaire, (two), the provinces of Uíge, Benguela and Moxico with three cases each. Huíla, Namibe and Cabinda, with a positive case, respectively, with ages between one to 81 years.

The document states that, in this period, the laboratories processed two thousand and 111 samples by RT-PCR, with the comulative indicating for three hundred and nineteen thousand and 096 samples, with a positivity rate of 5.6 percent.

In this period, Angola presents the following epidemiological picture: 17,974 infections, 11,955 recovered, 413 deaths and 5,422 active people.

Of the assets, two are in critical condition, nine serious, 76 moderate, 97 mild and five thousand 422 asymptomatic.

The health authorities, still follow 410 people in institutional quarantine and under surveillance 3,911 citizens.
