Luanda - Seventy-three new infections, four deaths and fifty recovered patients have been registered in the country over the past 24 hours, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, announced on Friday in Luanda.

According to the official, who was updating Covid-19 data, this is a case registered in Benguela, one in Huambo and 71 in Luanda.

Among the new patients, whose ages range from four months to 65 years old, there are 37 males and 36 females.

The deaths, he said, involve citizens of Luanda, three of whom are male and one is female.

Regarding the recovered, there are 43 in Luanda and seven in the province of Bié.

Angola has 6,031 positive cases, with 212 deaths, 2,685 recovered and 3,134 active.

Among the assets, 14 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 20 serious 2,591 asymptomatic.
