Luanda - The Angolan health authorities announced, on Monday, the registration of 207 new cases, one death and one recovered.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who was updating the data, 152 were registered in Luanda, 18 in Uíge, 14 in Cabinda, seven in Malanje, five in Huíla, the same number in Namibe, four in Benguela and two in Huambo.

According to Franco Mufinda, 125 male and 82 female patients are treated, whose ages range from 01 to 85 years.

The death, according to the official, involves a 53-year-old patient residing in Luanda, while the recovered person is also from the Angolan capital.

Angola accounts for 7,829 positive cases, with 248 deaths, 3,031 recovered and 4,450 assets.

Of the assets, pito nine are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 20 severe, 108 moderate, 443 have mild symptoms and 3,971 asymptomatic.

There are 576 patients under medical care in the country's treatment centers.
