Luanda - Angola recorded, in the last 24 hours, two more positive cases of local transmission, one being a citizen of Guinea Conacry, 29 years old, and another Angolan, 40 years old, contacts of case 31, said today, Tuesday, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.

According to Franco Mufinda, who regularly updated data, the two individuals, living in the neighborhood of Hoji Ya Henda, in the municipality of Cazenga, in Luanda, were in institutional quarantine.

Statistically Angola thus has 52 positive cases, with three deaths, 17 recovered and 32 active (clinically stable), with 25 cases of local transmission, including the case of the 82-year-old citizen who resulted in death, despite, according to the secretary of state, to be under investigation.

Regarding the Hoji Ya Henda neighborhood, he pointed out that three thousand 335 samples had already been collected, and the sanitary siege in this district of Luanda will still remain, unlike Bairro do Cassenda, Urban District of Maianga (Luanda), where 160 were tested people, with negative results, that will have the survey of the sanitary fence on Wednesday (20).
